Reconditioning Procedures

• Drums and lids are burned in a natural gas fired furnace to remove all exterior paint and internal residual.

• Drums and lids are then shot blasted to the bare metal with steel shot, in order to prepare the surfaces for the painting process.

• The bottom chime of the drum is inspected and straightened if necessary.
